You’ll discover the key cellular mechanisms and processes behind fatigue and energy production. We’ll then explore the two maps specifically created to help you understand your fatigue and plan your path to recovery.
Day 2:
Decoding fatigue
We’ll uncover how your mental state affects your energy production, and dive into research on the mind-body connection and what it means for those with fatigue-related conditions. Finally, we’ll unpack how genetics, types of system loads and personality patterns play a role in fatigue.
Day 3:
Key body systems
We break down the three core bodily systems that contribute to fatigue when they’re not functioning optimally. You'll learn about the digestive system's impact on energy production, the endocrine system's response to hormones and stimulants, and how system loads and infections affect energy exchange within your immune system.
Day 4:
Healing state
You’ll learn about the maladaptive stress response, how to identify it and the steps you can take to reset this response. You’ll also discover the importance of calming your nervous system and gain practical tools to help cultivate a healing state—something that’s crucial to recovery.
Day 5:
Mapping your recovery
On the final day of the series, we’ll focus on the importance of listening to your body. We’ll work through the four types of tiredness and how to respond to each type, as well as the three main stages of recovery. Plus, we’ll bring together all that you’ve learnt from the past five days to formulate a practical plan for your healing journey.
